For students entering grades 3-6

Service learning gives kids an authentic educational experience while teaching empathy. Through mini service learning projects, students get a chance to contribute to their communities and discover that they can make a difference in someone's day! Some ideas for projects include but are not limited to creating kindness rocks, knitting hats for KidKnits (support sustainable employment families living in poverty in developing countries), creating place mats and cards for local Meals on Wheels, creating pet toys/beds for local animals shelters, and cozy blankets for Project Linus. A tuition fee of $30 will pay for necessary materials/kits.
