Teen Teachers- Creative Storytelling Workshop- In person

For students entering grades 3-5

In this course, students will learn about the creative process of writing stories. Students will read examples of various stories, discovering the craft and techniques that make up an engaging story. Students will then practice using these skills to develop their own stories, using creative prompts, their imagination, and knowledge of new techniques to write stories in a variety of genres including mystery, fantasy, historical fiction, and personal narrative. 

This course is part of our Teen Teachers program in which Darien's high school and college students teach courses about topics they are passionate about.  In addition to the Teen Teacher who will lead the activities, a Darien Public Schools staff member will supervise the class.
