For students entering grades 7-11

The course will look at different characters in major pop-culture movies. We will look at and analyze character motivations, themes, motifs, etc. We will watch movies and break them down bit by bit in full class discussions and even debates. Film is timeless and the popularity of pop-culture films (superheros, Star Wars, Harry Potter) is at an all time high. I want those who love this genre of film to be open to looking at film differently and having fun discussing them.
