Experience fun biology! Ivy Bound’s instructors start with non-human mammals, revealing the shared aspects with humans and the non-human processes like rumination, symbiosis, preening, and incubation. We then move to other species, including some obscure ones that are not seen in Zoos or Aquaria. We then move to humans, letting students see and appreciate the amazing workings of our heads and torsos.
Finally, we discuss better “maintenance” of our amazing bodies, a first step to a future course of Health and Nutrition.
Students may bring lunch as needed.
