Papier Mache Creations, Piggy Banks, Unicorns and More! - In person

Time to get creative and messy with the art of Papier Mache! Students will create large and colorful 3-D sculptures, from piggy banks to unicorns! Day 1 begins with creating the base sculptures, using oatmeal canisters and cardboard recyclables, and then applying the first layer of papier mache. On days 2 and 3, we will continue to apply our papier mache mixture to our base sculptures. On day 4 we will paint our sculptures and add details. All materials will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring in a bag of newspaper and cardboard recyclables if possible.
