For students entering grades 7-10
This is a beginner Computer Science course that includes an overview of the field, analysis of important issues, and problem solving techniques. The objectives of this course is to introduce a specific high level computer language and to develop a
working knowledge of computer technology.
Note: Participants must provide their own functional computer on which they are able to download necessary softwares.
This course is part of our Teen Teachers program in which Darien's high school and college students teach courses about topics they are passionate about. In addition to the Teen Teacher who will lead the activities, a Darien Public Schools staff member will supervise the class.
