Cinematic VR Workshop: Learn to create film in Virtual Reality

Ages 11-14

Work with the techniques and technologies of Cinematic VR (CVR) to create immersive cinematic experiences – the future is already here! Films created using CVR bring the audience into the story with a heightened sense of reality, as if they are actually part of what is happening. Each CVR filmmaker will team up to conceive, direct, film and edit their own scene in the final CVR film!

· CVR filmmakers will experience:

· Narratology approach to the Cinematic VR experience

· Design basics for virtual reality and the hands-on process of making a CVR film

· Cinematography approaches

· Ambisonic sound and recording techniques

· Editing techniques for Cinematic VR

The week culminates with a completed CVR film project of 3-4 minutes.
