Entering grades 7-8

This is a course designed for students who have completed Grade 6 Mathematics or Grade 6 Advanced Mathematics and would like to prepare to take Grade 7 Advanced Mathematics. Each week the course will delve deeply into a different topic. The topics include integers, rational numbers, expressions and equations, expressions and ratios, proportions and percent. This rigorous course is for students to deeply understand the topics needed for Grade 7 Advanced Mathematics.


*Students ENTERING 7th grade can use this course to qualify for Grade 7 Advanced Mathematics provided they have attended 23 out of the 24 summer school classes and score a B - or higher on the placement exam.


**Students may also audit this course as a preview/review.
