For students entering grades 1-6
The 2023 production will be Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory!
Bring out the actor in your young child in this fun-filled summer theater program! Children will be involved in a full theatrical production, complete with simple costumes, sets, musical numbers and choreography. They will be introduced to the basics of theater production while gaining confidence and poise. Workshops for small groups will be held in music and voice, choreography, and costume and set design. Every child will be fully involved both on stage and off. Families will be invited to attend the performance during the last week of the session. Get your video cameras ready! There are memorable moments coming! Included in the tuition are all production expenses, including scripts and performance rights. Enrollment will be limited. This class will be held at Tokeneke Elementary School.
Please note: Absences from the program in the first three weeks are acceptable but students should be in attendance for all of the days during weeks four and five. Our production will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday of the fifth week. Thursday and Friday of that week will be dedicated to acting games, set break-down, and a cast party.
