Kings, Queens and Castles

For students entering Grades 1-4

If you are interested in exploring castles, kings and queens, come join me for the week. We will research and discuss features found in castles and the many rooms that royalty and servants lived in. You will design your own Great Hall to take home, complete with royalty and staff made from wooden clothespins. Students are encouraged to bring in small recycled/reusable items to create furniture and decorate their Hall.

*Looking for a program to fill a gap between a class that ends at 12:30pm and this class?  Try "Lunch Bunch" for supervised lunch time! 

** If the Town of Darien decides to postpone the fireworks originally scheduled for July 12, 2024 to the rain date of July 19, 2024, classes after 12:30pm will be canceled on July 19 as the town requires us to leave the Darien High School premises at 12:30pm.  Unfortunately, if the fireworks are rescheduled for this day, we will be unable to provide a refund.
