Stage Makeup Workshop

For students entering grades 6-12

Students will learn how to:

-Articulate how a makeup design contributes to character
-Describe what constitutes an effective makeup design
-Implement various methods for applying stage makeup according to a design
-Demonstrate through application various stage makeup designs including: aging, glamour, injury effects, animal and fantasy

*Students will be able to work on stage makeup for the Musical Theater Workshop production taking place this summer!

**There will be no class on Friday, July 12 due to the Town of Darien firework set up.  If the Town of Darien decides to postpone the fireworks originally scheduled for July 12, 2024 to the rain date of July 19, 2024, classes after 12:30pm will be canceled on July 19 as the town requires us to leave the Darien High School premises at 12:30pm.  Unfortunately, if the fireworks are rescheduled for this day, we will be unable to provide a refund.
