Leap Ahead Writing

Entering grades K-2

In Leap Ahead Writing, young learners will practice handwriting, build vocabulary, and write simple sentences through fun activities like storytelling and group projects. There will be read-aloud time each day to study author craft and spark creativity. With a focus on letter formation, fine motor skills, and sentence-building, this supportive class fosters confidence and a love for writing!

Entering grades 4-5

Do you love to write?

This class will offer opportunities to write each day and to write in different genres. A variety of writing strategies will be taught as well as working to expand vocabulary and to improve revision and editing skills. There will be read aloud time each day to provide opportunities to study author craft.
