Creating Comics 

Entering Grade 9

This course will introduce students to creating and developing their characters for a comic book story from concept to completion. Lessons and demos will be given in traditional drawing, inking, and lettering mechanics throughout the course. Students will apply the fundamentals of visual storytelling, such as page layout, composition, framing, pacing, and the language of comics, to their work. This class will allow students to delve into developing fictional worlds from which to draw storylines.
