Nature Explorers (Art & Science) 

Entering Grades 1&2

Come explore the outdoors in our Nature Explorers course! This is a hands-on class allowing students to embrace their creativity and curiosity, all while connecting with nature and learning more about the environment. We’ll cover different topics each week – plants, insects, animals, weather, sustainability and ecosystems – giving students the opportunity to create on their own and become tiny scientists!

Nature Explorers will encourage interactive learning! The course will consist of activities such as:
- Taking nature walks and making real world connections
- Making observations while keeping record in Nature Journals
- Expressing originality through art projects and writing – creating mini sculptures/art using nature and sustainable materials
- Planting our own classroom seeds
- Learning how to work with peers, team building, and encouraging one another

Don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty – come learn and explore the world around us!
