Entering Grades 7-12

This summer drawing class focuses on developing foundational and creative skills through a variety of techniques. Students will maintain a sketchbook to practice daily sketches, exploring drawing from observation, imagination, and storytelling. The course emphasizes mastering perspective, heads, hands, facial expressions, and drawing folds and clothing to create realistic and dynamic figures. Media used will include pencil, pen and ink, and digital tools like CreatePro and ClipStudio Paint to encourage versatility and experimentation. Throughout the class, students will build confidence in capturing emotion, movement, and details that bring their artwork to life.
