Preparing for 7th Grade Math
Entering Grades 6-8
This enrichment course helps students review and preview key skills from 6th-grade math and introduces the major concepts they will encounter in Grade 7. Topics include integers, rational numbers, ratios and proportions, percent, expressions, equations, and inequalities.
Students will practice applying these skills to real-world problems and strengthen their readiness for the increased rigor of middle school mathematics.
Our summer math courses are designed to provide exposure, enrichment, and reinforcement of key mathematical concepts. These courses offer students the opportunity to preview upcoming material, review foundational skills, and strengthen problem-solving confidence in a supportive learning environment.
Please note:
Summer courses are not a replacement for any full-year math course.
They are not designed as preparation for the Math Placement Exam.
Placement decisions for the upcoming school year are based on coursework, school-year performance, and department assessments, not summer enrichment participation.
