Resilient Learners
Entering Grades 3-5
Resilient Learners helps students in grades 3–5 develop practical skills to manage stress, build confidence, and navigate everyday challenges at school and beyond. Through engaging activities, guided discussions, and hands-on practice, students learn strategies they can use when emotions feel big or situations feel overwhelming. Students will be taught age-appropriate breathing techniques, gentle movement-based exercises, and calming strategies designed to help reset and regulate the nervous system, supporting their ability to feel safe, calm, and focused. These tools help students recognize when their bodies are feeling stressed and learn how to bring themselves back to balance. Students will also practice identifying emotions, using positive self-talk, problem-solving through challenges, and responding thoughtfully in social and academic situations. Lessons are interactive and supportive, giving students opportunities to practice these skills through games, scenarios, reflection, and collaboration. Instruction is intentionally differentiated, allowing students to engage at their own comfort level while being gently challenged to grow. This class is ideal for students who want tools to feel calmer, more confident, and better prepared to handle stress, frustration, and everyday school challenges—especially as they build independence and prepare for the upper elementary years.
