(Entering Grades 7-11) Learn and refine the fundamentals of wrestling from a former FCIAC, CT State Champion, and HS All-American. Basic wrestling skills and techniques will be demonstrated and practiced in match-like situations. Wrestlers will learn and/or improve their takedown skills, riding techniques, escape moves, and pinning combinations. Participants will be grouped according to age and ability, with an eye on individual differences.This camp will be held in the air-conditioned Wrestling Room at DHS.
