Entering grades 9-12

 

VIRTUAL Class Description: The class will be a combination of live teaching along with some videos and lesson plans the students will do on their own in conjunction with the live teaching. The teacher will be available for the entire period to help students with their work.

This course is a review of the following: factoring extended cubic expression; complex numbers; matrices; exponents and algorithms; quadratic formula and applications; linear equations; parabolas. Traditional Algebra II material is taught according to student needs.

 

*Students may take this course as: a preview of the course, a review before advancing to next levels, credit recovery, or in order to qualify for a higher level of the next course.  For students taking this summer school course for credit recovery, DSS will award .5 (one semester) credit to those who successfully pass the course and attend at least 23 of the 24 days.
