College Application Workshop - Virtual

Entering grade 12

VIRTUAL Class Description:

Each lesson will be held via Zoom Video Conferencing. Sessions will start live for all students and begin with teacher-led lessons and tutorials related to the tasks being completed for the day. Students will be expected to complete tasks remotely, with progress check-ins with the teacher. Sessions will end with group discussions addressing questions and sharing helpful hints and progress.

This course offers incoming seniors - no matter where they are in the college process, the opportunity to complete various components of their college application(s) with a skilled and seasoned counselor. During the sessions, students will read sample applications of accepted students, learn what admission counselors are looking for within the application, and complete an activity list/resume. By the end of the course, students should leave with a substantial amount of the application(s) complete and edited with a time line for completion.

Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop or other device.
