We use three types of games, one of which is on the internet and can be played later with parents at home. Students at times play in teams, and at times are solo. We have a “one vs. all” challenge. Students build their vocabulary in every hour we are together. We use word “families” to occasionally help with retention. We point out Latin derivations where they apply.

Students learn word meanings that will directly apply to papers assigned in middle and high school. They will see and master many words that will appear on the upcoming SAT. Students can reinforce with a “Final Friday Phone-In” which is a zoom call or computer conference at 5:30pm the last Friday of each month August through December.
