Mathletes- Fun Math

Grades 6-9

Students who are keen on math are more likely to succeed in math. This 10-hour class lets children entering grades 6 - 9 view problems and do problems that are interesting. We start with easy and "neat" multipliers and dividers. We introduce "Perfect Squares" and "Cute Cubes", and at some point we'll even assess: Adding infinities, simple Factorials, and Fibonacci Series.

During each session, Ivy Bound's tutors encourage children to do some of the fun stuff, and apply it to some of the "nitty-gritty". With 8 to 12 more math years ahead of them, students with an enjoyable foundation can take on future math assignments without complaint.
