High School Credit Recovery - Health- 8:30-9:30
Entering grades 10-12
This course is for any Darien High School student looking to earn back credit for a class taken during the school year. Health class work will be tailored to the student's needs based on the student's performance during the school year. One semester credit (.25 credit) will be awarded for the successful completion of the summer school course. Students must attend at least 21 of the 23 classes to receive credit. The summer school course will appear on the student's DHS transcript with a mark of pass (P) or fail (F).
*If schedules do not allow for the student to attend 24 one hour class sessions, there may be flexibility that allows for the student to complete the hours in different ways. For example, a student may be allowed to attend for two hours a day for 12 days instead of one hour a day for 5 weeks. To request a flexible option, please email Summer School Director, Marc Power, at mpower@darienps.org to discuss.
