Confidence in Communication: Speaking, Writing, and Presenting 

Entering Grades 5-7

This course helps students build confidence by expressing their ideas through speaking, listening, reading, and writing in a supportive environment. Students will participate in group discussions, short presentations, and writing tasks that strengthen clear communication.
Students will develop key ELA skills such as reading and responding to short texts, building vocabulary, organizing ideas for an audience, and practicing active listening. Writing activities focus on drafting and revising short reflections and presentation outlines. This class will help students organize their thoughts, express themselves clearly, and build confidence, without pressure or stress.
Devices are preferred for drafting presentations, writing reflections, and interactive activities.
