High School Credit Recovery - English

Entering grades 10-12

This course is for any Darien High School student looking to earn back credit for a class taken during the school year. English academic work will be tailored to the student's needs based on the student's performance during the school year. One semester credit (.5 credit) will be awarded for the successful completion of the summer school course. Students must attend at least 22 of the 24 classes to receive credit.

*If schedules do not allow for the student to attend 24 two hour class sessions, there may be flexibility that allows for the student to complete the hours in different ways.  For example, a student may be allowed to attend for four hours a day for 2.5 weeks instead of two hours a day for 5 weeks.  To request a flexible option, please email Summer School Director, Marc Power, at mpower@darienps.org to discuss.
