Be real. Or DON'T! This is the class where the imagination SHOULD take over! Ivy Bound's teachers guide children to take a fantasy and make it applicable to many readers. Yes, both J.R.R. Tolkien and J.K. Rowling got their starts writing fairy tales.
The class includes combinations with graphics. Every student will make a book; it gets finished off by a professional agency with one or many hard copies delivered to Darien High School in the final week of summer school. Parents can order extra copies and have them shipped to relatives by mail.
