Paint with Passion 

Entering grades 6-12

Delve into the undeniably wonderful world of painting with Miss Lashendock. Former student at Darien High School herself and now an art teacher at Saxe Middle School, painting is her passion. Explore styles and techniques that you don’t usually try in school with projects such as a plexi-glass paint to print project, to landscape paintings on stretched canvases. Take a look at well known artists, and share artists that we find on pinterest that inspire us as we try to emulate their styles. This class is 2 hours of fun every day for 3 weeks for artists looking to elevate their painting skills! We will be using acrylic paints, not tempura like in school, so while they are water soluble, please make sure to wear appropriate clothing!
